  Useful Tips

  • Parking – Always look for a flat parking spot
  • Charging – When off-grid, position the campervan so when the pop top is up the solar panels face the sun
  • Cooking – Always have a window or the air vents in pop top open when cooking to avoid food odours
  • Fridge/Freezer – When off-grid/not on hook-up up keep your fridge on the lowest setting (or switch it off overnight)
  • Be prepared – If you need your cups, plates, etc for the morning, take them out before putting the bed down
  • Packing – There isn’t lots of storage space in our campers, so remember to pack light!
  • Bedding – You can store your bedding in the pop-top and pushed up out the way to save space
  • Table – The small table can be placed behind the drivers seat when the campervan is parked to save putting in its storage in the back       each time
  • Wind out awning – Dont leave the winder for the awning hanging and always wind the awning in at night time if unsure of the weather forecast

How do you get onto the top bed?

Without footwear, when the chairs are turned, step on the chairs and, if necessary, the unit and ‘hop up’!

Where is the electric hook up cable stored?

You’ll find the cable under the double front passenger seat.

What fuel should I put into my camper?

All our campers use diesel fuel

Will I need the drive away awning?

The wind out awning comes already attached to the campervan and is used for sunshade, shelter from rain, and to put your table and chairs underneath.

The driveaway awning is a 2 man-attachable tent that you can leave in-situ at the campsite when you want to go exploring.

  Can I bring my pets?

Yes, our campers are pet-friendly! We’ve even included seat covers for your pets under the passenger seat.

How many does the campervan seat/sleep?

There is seating for 5 passengers and sleeping for 3 adults (or 2 adults, 2 children)

Is there a weight limit on the pop top bed?

Yes, no more than 22 stone (140Kg)

What do I need to bring?

Everything is provided in our campervans. You just need to bring your own bedding!

What is the minimum hire age?

You need to be at least 23 to hire one of our campers, and unfortunately (due to insurance restrictions) we can only hire to people below 75 years of age.

Can I take the campervan into Europe?

Yes! There are some great places to visit around Europe.

You will just need to complete a VE103 (which we will forward on booking) – or you can download from here –  https://www.gov.uk/taking-vehicles-out-of-uk/for-less-than-12-months

Where are the jack and spare wheel kept?

The jack is under the front double passenger seat, and the spare wheel is under the back of the campervan.

We include 700 miles in each hire – additional miles are charged at 0.10p per mile thereafter.

All 3 of our campervans are manual

Can I drink the tap water?

The water from the tap is stored in an underslung tank, so we don’t recommend drinking it

  Do the campervans have Isofix?

Yes, our rear seats have Isofix

Are there plugsockets in the campervans?

Yes there are 2 plug sockets (and several USB ports). But please remember, the plug sockets only work when you are attached to electric hook-up
